Curriculum Vitaes (CVs)

Although similar to a resume, curriculum vitaes (or CVs) differ in that they focus on academics, rather than job experiences. Some professional programs or internships prefer (or require) CVs over resumes, as they provide insight of one’s educational history, such as relevant courses and research.

Cover Letters

Some hiring companies and employers require an applicant to submit a cover letter. If they don’t, keep in mind that taking the time to submit one shows you’re interested in the position and can make you a more competitive applicant. These can be tricky to write. You want to keep it simple, but sell yourself without providing too much information.

Personal Statements
